Volterra
A full day tour to discover Volterra. Lunch is organized at a local organic farm located in the hills near the etruscan town and in an extraordinary position over the hills, the perfect location for the production of famous quality cheeses. We have a guided tour of the town, a centre of Etruscan, Roman, Medieval and Renaissance art, before returning to your hotel 

Bolgheri Doc
Morning visit of the medieval town of Bolgheri, a beutiful hamlet historically belonging to the Della Gherardesca Family and also known for  its “Viale dei Cipressi”,  the Avenue with the wonderful historical cypresses praised in  the famous Giosué Carducci’s poem “Davanti a San Guido”. The village, which can be reached through an arched  gate, has kept its  original aspect: the historical buildings, the old roads, charming corners and little shops create a fashinating atmosphere enriched by the astonishing view of the hills, the Mediterranean maquis ,extensions of olive trees and a superb view of the sea and islands in the distance. After free time for shopping to buy local products, the tour continues along the wine route of the local Doc, one of the most important the world over, the program includes a visit to the famous cellars.

Montalcino – Winery
Departure for the Val d’Orcia region (recognized World Heritage Site in 2004) one of the most beautiful natural areas of Italy and rich of treasures of art located in the province of Siena. After a visit of the medieval hill top town of Montalcino, well-known for its red Brunello we continue for a local wine Cellar and Museum of the Brunello di Montalcino. The cellar, that used to belong to the Ciacci Piccolomini Family, was a post station dating back to 1200 and located on the Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Here after an introduction from our host, we will have a tasting of the estate wines accompanied by local delicacies.

Morning departure for the medieval walled town of Lucca, a powerful financial centre of 1600, to take a guided tour of the old town surrounded by imposing perfectly preserved walls: you will visit Piazza San Michele with its impressive church with a marvellous facade, the Duomo of San Martino, hosting the tomb of Ilaria del Carretto, the famous Roman amphitheatre and the Museo Nazionale of Palazzo Mansi, located in the prestigious house of one of the most illustrious families of the city and hosting a impressive canvas collections. Lunch in typical restaurant of the city centre before some free time to explore at your own pace

Florence
A full day to discover the city. We start from Santa Maria Del Fiore, the “Duomo”, and continue our walking tour of the historic centre to see the dome by Brunelleschi, Giotto’s bell-tower, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. Before reaching the river Arno we see, Piazza della Signoria, a great “open-air sculpture museum”, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. The tour ends at Ponte Vecchio, the “jewels bridge”.
Lunch in the in a local enoteca of the centre. In the afternoon visit of the Palatine Gallery that occupies the whole left wing of the first floor of the Pitti Palace, which was the residence of the Medici grand-dukes. It is an impressive collection that includes works by Raphael, Titian, Correggio, Rubens, Pietro da Cortona and other Italian and European masters of the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
